Join us for this year's trip to La Libertad, El Salvador!

Anyone is welcome to apply - students, staff, community members and families.

WHO: New Life Church has chosen Great Commission Latin America as their partner organization and has partnered with 2 sister churches in El Salvador. San Salvador, the capital and La Libertad, on the ocean. The partnerships with these churches are critical to our church's vision for international missions and we need to continue to develop this relationship with a large group of New Lifer's this May!

WHERE: La Libertad is a small fishing village on the west coast of El Salvador. For those who have been there last year know how amazingly beautiful it is. The church is filled with wonderful, loving people who are friendly and also love to serve God. Their church service is much like New Life, very rockin', just in Spanish!

WHAT: As missionaries from New Life, our purpose is to take one week to support the local church as best we can in their continuing efforts for the Kingdom. Throughout our week we will be giving computer and English classes to high school students at their Training Center, sharing the gospel in the community, throwing a party for the children of the community, disaster relief work from the mudslides, feed the malnurished children in their nutrition center and much more! We will also take a one day excursion to experience the rich El Salvadoran culture. Not only do you get to be on mission for God's kingdom with awesome people, but you get to do it in a tropical paradise on the ocean! We will spend a day relaxing with the waves.

Never shared the Gospel before? That's totally fine! We will pair you with an experienced person and help you learn!
Don't know Spanish? That's ok, we'll have local translators with us the whole time!
Going to LT? No problem, we'll be back before LT starts!
Interning for LT? Great! Talk to the staff about including this trip as part of your intern experience!
