Core

Training the next generation of church leaders is an important aspect of our mission. Core is our Sunday evening service dedicated to in-depth teaching, discipleship, and worship. Core is part exhortation and part instruction, while being completely focused on raising up sincerely devoted members of the body of Christ.

Core also provides a venue for special services and educational opportunities at New Life Church.

In addition to our primary Core service we also have two variant Core-style meetings:

  • Dual Core: Our core meeting geared toward meeting the unique leadership needs of each gender. During this time we break into two main groups: the women meet in the auditorium while the men meet in the basement meeting room.
  • LifeGroup Leader Core: This meeting time is orchestrated around equipping our lifegroup (also called small group) leaders to lead with increasing excellence. We realize that leading a lifegroup is both critically important and potentially demanding and so we are committed to equipping our leaders with everything they need to succeed.

    Core Schedule - Winter 2010

    The structure is similar to what we did last year, we're doing one Core Service once a month on Sunday night, one Dual Core (guys and girls separate) once a month on Sunday night, and we're not doing Team Core anymore, in it's place we're going to do Lifegroup Leader Core once a month on Saturday morning 10am-12noon. Which will be specifically to equip our lifegroup leaders and aspiring lifegroup leaders with ministry skills and teach them leadership lessons.
